There are two main endocannabinoid receptors:
(CB1 receptors)
Are mostly found in the central nervous system. CB1 receptor mediates most of the psychoactive effects of cannabinoids.
(CB2 receptors)
Are mostly found in your peripheral nervous system, especially immune cells. The CB2 receptor is principally involved in anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive actions.
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of the more than 400 chemical entities found in cannabis plants. That means it can be found in both marijuana and industrial hemp.
CBD is a close chemical compound to tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. THC and CBD have the same chemical makeup with the only difference being the arrangement of a single atom. Unlike THC, CBD does not have psychoactive properties, meaning it cannot get you high, no matter how much you take.
While you may not have heard about CBG, humans have reaped its benefits for millennia in cannabis and hemp plants.
It was first synthesized in 1964, alongside THC, and has been studied extensively for its medicinal potential. It’s often called the “Mother of all cannabinoids” because, without it, cannabis would have no high. But does contribute to amplifying the effects of both CB1 and CB2 Cannabinoids.
Cannabinol (CBN) is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis Sativa plants.
Like all cannabinoids, it is believed the CBN interacts with the endocannabinoid system. This internal system is responsible for an array of bodily functions – including regulating sleep and immune function.
The body is filled with cannabinoid receptors that are ready to receive incoming messages when cannabinoids are introduced to the body. Scientific research suggests that it binds to the CB2 receptor, and in turn promotes a sedating effect.
THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is the chemical responsible for most of marijuana's psychological effects. It acts much like the cannabinoid chemicals made naturally by the body.
THC stimulates cells in the brain to release dopamine, creating euphoria. It also interferes with how information is processed in the hippocampus, which is part of the brain responsible for forming new memories.
The effects of cannabis can vary massively. Some people say feeling 'stoned' makes them feel chilled out and happy in their thoughts, while others say it makes them giggly and chatty.
Delta-8 THC is a psychoactive compound that’s pretty similar to Delta-9 THC
Delta-9 THC is a compound in the cannabis plant that produces a “high.” It’s what people are usually referring to when they talk about THC. Though Delta-8 is similar to delta-9 THC, it has a slightly different chemical structure that makes it a lot less potent.
What does Delta 8 high feel like?
While Delta 8 can have a euphoric effect, it won't be the same type of high as you get with other cannabinoids. Most users have reported that they are relaxed, sleepy, and forgetful after using Delta 8.
THC-O is a new, cutting-edge cannabinoid (Derived from Hemp just like Delta 8), which carries psychoactive effects and euphoric feelings associated with the typical properties associated with cannabis use.
It is rumored that THC-O is roughly 3 times more potent than the usual THC. Additionally, THC-O is known for its anti-nausea, anti-anxiety, appetite-stimulating, and stress-reducing properties.
What does THC-O high feel like?
. Based on the experiences of consumers, this compound is Relaxed, Strong Buzz Physically and Mentally. It is also capable of producing more psychedelic effects than other cannabinoids. It has also been said that these effects tend to have a more spiritual tone.
HHC was first created in 1944 by the American chemist Roger Adams when he added hydrogen molecules to Delta-9 THC.
This process, known as hydrogenation, converts THC to Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC).
What does HHC high feel Like?
HHC's effects are very similar to those of THC, such as altered visual and auditory perception. Some HHC users describe its effects as more relaxing than stimulating, similar to delta 8. Since HHC is so similar to THC, it may offer many of THC's benefits, but few studies have investigated this
When come to functionality CBD is the way to go. CBD (Cannabidiol), is the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis (Marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana there are other cannonades such as CBN (Cannabinol) and CBG (Cannabigerol).
